Appointment Time

Arrive Early - We recommend that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early in order to give yourself time to relax and prepare to take full advantage of your massage.

Arriving Late - Arriving late for your appointment could result in your massage being shortened or rescheduled to another date. Shortened massages, due to late arrival, will still be charged for the whole hour.

Cancellation Policy

We ask that you notify us of your need to cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. This is common courtesy and allows us the opportunity to fill your time with other clients.

Faliure to do so will be subject to a cancellation penalty of 50% of you scheduled session. Failure to cancel at least 24 hours prior will be subject to a penalty of 75% of your scheduled session. This will be added to your next appointment if booked within 2 weeks. Otherwise an invoice will be mailed to your home.

Inappropriate Conduct

At Shalom Therapy, we strive to conduct ourselves in a very professional manner, by our dress, or words and our actions, to ensure that you feel comfortable and relaxed with your massage.

We will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct, such as lewd or suggestive comments/proposals, deliberate exposure of genitals, fondling of genitals or any other conduct deemed inappropriate by us.

Any violation of this will result in the immediate termination of the massage and full payment of the duration booked.

Payment

Payment can be made by cash or pesonal cheque, made out to Shalom Therapy. We do not currently accept credit cards, but are looking into this possibility in the future.

Payment must be made immediately upon completion of the massage.

Any personal cheques that are returned NSF will result in a $30.00 NSF penalty. This will be added to your next appointment if booked within 2 weeks. Otherwise an invoice will be mailed to your home.

Benefits Claims and Coverage

Sorry, we do not do 3rd party billing to benifit providers.

We are Registered Massage Therapists (R.M.T) and thus can provides reciepts to be submitted for claims.

Most benefit providers offer coverage for massage therapy for both the employee and their spouse. Check with your benefits coordinator to determine the amounts and if there are any stipulations, such as a doctors recommendation, prior to your appointment.
